There were 29 members and guests present at what is becoming an annual event at the TAFE Ultimo Catering Training School. There were some cancellations from the event due to unforeseen circumstances with trains and other personal issues; regrettable but unavoidable and perhaps next year may see a better turn out.
We were treated to a very good three-course meal of great quality with very good service and as usual the company made the day well worthwhile. Those present would, I am sure, recommend The Apprentice Restaurant (ph 02 9217 5527 ) to anyone with a discerning palate and at a loose end looking for something different to do in Sydney. Bookings are essential. They will accommodate a walk-up start, but if they have a big booking on the day, walk-ups may be disappointed. |
