Canberra Christmas in July - 22 July 2016

A good night was had at the Austrian Club Canberra where 24 hardy souls braved some pretty cool and windy weather to attend the annual mid-year dinner for our Canberra brethren.

The food and the venue were excellent and the company in good spirits with everyone mingling in the time-honoured manner to have a chat about some recent and some very long ago shared experiences and events.

With Bob Dyer in the group, some tales were taller than others but all good fun and the next event is scheduled for 9th December 2016 at the Royal Canberra Golf Club Yarralumla and, if this event is an indicator, it is highly recommended.

Albert Orsaczky welcomed all and gave apologies. He also expressed the gratitude of the group to ANZROC (NSW) executive for their support and made them very welcome on the night.
