We gathered at the Coniston Hotel for an enjoyable luncheon and a very
congenial afternoon.
Thank you to all those that attended and made it such an enjoyable event. There were some that travelled from out of the district, our revered Secretary Graeme Bool and his partner Judith, John Tier from Campbelltown whose connection to the Illawarra goes back to his days as Manager Corrimal some years ago, Peter and Jean Maber from the Central Coast who were escaping their now defunct lockdown bubble, John Turnbull form Gerringong and all the old familiar faces encountered over the years in the Illawarra workplace, all of whom reside somewhere in the Illawarra. There were apologies from Earl Cochrane, Gail Rutledge, Terry Auld (our Club President), Noel Bottrell, and Ken and Lindy Dighton. Also being a little too close to Christmas, several others were committed to events elsewhere. Watch this space for our next gathering scheduled for either June or July next year by popular acclaim at the same venue. Reg Smeaton
